We hiked for 3 hours to reach the temple at Yamunotri. You might think somewhere so religous would be a peaceful experience, but this was far from it. For the entire three hours we were pushed to the side of the road as donkies and porters carried people up the path. "Left side, left side" was a common refrain we'd hear from the people behind.
